The Endowment Fund
The Crook County Historical Society Endowment Fund is a permanent financial resource supporting the Society's purpose and the operation of the Museum. Revenues from the Endowment Fund are committed annually to the general operation of the Society and the A. R. Bowman memorial Museum's programs. The Endowment Fund is managed for the Society by the Oregon Community Foundation. There are several methods you can use to give to the Endowment fund and help insure the museum's long term financial stability.
Outright Gifts of cash, property or securities
Deferred Gifts -- Charitable Remainder Trusts With this give you give Bowman Museum the principle while you continue to collect the income.
Planned Gifts Through Wills Through your will you can bequest a specific amount of money, property, or percentage of your estate.
The Crook County Historical Society's first priority for the Endowment Fund is the growth of the principal balance. This growth is essential to the ability of the society to assist in providing stability for the A. R. Bowman Memorial Museum in the decades ahead.
